Is Rune Factory 5 multiplayer?
The Rune Factory series has never had multiplayer in any shape or form, but the fifth brings about plenty of changes like a 3D world to explore and same-sex relationships. However, does Rune Factory 5 multiplayer exist? Find out below.
Can you join your buddies in Rune Factory 5 multiplayer?
Currently, there are no plans to bring any sort of Rune Factory 5 multiplayer element to the game. Despite not being able to join real-life pals in the game, you can enlist help another way.
You can ask your fictional friends around the town to help you on missions. While talking to them, simply press the R button during a conversation to bring up the option. At first, the relationship isn’t strong enough with anyone to receive their assistance, but as your friendship grows, they are more likely to join you on a quest.
You can also force their assistance on a brave adventure with the Companion Crest in the SEED Crests menu. You can unlock it by capturing every one-star wanted monster like the Slime and Goblin Archer. While having the Companion Crest equipped, your chosen NPC will always join you.
You can find your SEED Crests under Ranger Notes in your in-game menu; it’s the notebook symbol next to the quill and happy face with a heart.
It’s a shame that there’s no Rune Factory 5 multiplayer, but to be completely honest, the experience is laggy enough as it is during combat with a full party of NPCs.
