Is Atelier Ryza 3 Open World?
The Atelier JRPG series is beloved by a cult fan base, but the scope is understandably limited. However, an Atelier Ryza 3 open world is certainly possible with a higher budget. Here’s everything we know so far about an Atelier Ryza 3 open world.
Can You Explore An Atelier Ryza 3 Open World?
Past Atelier entries have had small, yet stunning hallway-style environments with plenty of wildlife and resources to pick up. However, an Atelier Ryza 3 open world has been confirmed by the publisher Koei Tecmo, making it one of the most exciting releases for the long-running franchise.
“The field is made up of multiple connected maps, allowing players to move around seamlessly to each map without loading times,” says Koei Tecmo on the official Atelier Ryza 3 website. “Enjoy a massive, ‘living’ field that is one of the largest in the Atelier series.” An Atelier Ryza 3 open world without loading screens certainly sounds exciting.
What Atelier Ryza 3 Environments Are There?
There will be four different regions to explore in the Atelier Ryza 3 open world: a deeply forested area, ruins, fields, and oceans which let you go underwater and find scraps in wrecked ships. The world looks absolutely gorgeous with the anime-inspired graphics of the game. When the game releases, keep an eye on Nintendo Link for extensive guides coverage that will help navigate yourself around the Atelier Ryza 2 open world, and a review.
You’ll be able to explore these environments when Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key releases on February 24. Fans of the main protagonist Ryza may be sad to know this is her last adventure, according to Koei Tecmo.
While you wait for the game, you can check out Atelier Sophie 2, which thankfully has a physical version you can buy.
