Viking RTS Northgard gets “The Cross of Vidar” Expansion on Nintendo Switch Soon
Edit 14/12: This article originally claimed that the DLC released yesterday, this is not the case, the DLC is only available on Steam as of now. We are currently seeking clarification from Shiro Unlimited’s PR team on this matter.
Developer and publisher Shiro Unlimited have today announced a new expansion to their Viking strategy game Northgard on Switch.

The new DLC will see the game’s 3 million players journey into unexplored territory and experience a new faction system starting with the Kingdom of Neustria. This clan is highly faith and military based and units will need to be kept at specific livability standards but while this is maintained unlimited workers can be placed in the fields.
The Cross of Vidar campaign will be released in two segments, with the first 8 levels entitled available now [see edit] for $14,99, and the final 2 levels entitled The Cross of Vidar: Epilogue, arriving January 19th.Â
