How To Find And Capture The Goblin Archer In Rune Factory 5
The Goblin Archer in Rune Factory 5 is hidden out of plain sight, but it is your job to find and capture it for SEED. This guide will explain where you can discover it.
To get the goblin archer’s contract, speak to Field Captain Livia at the first floor of your home and ask about the wanted monsters list. Accept the contract and you’ll be able to start your journey.
After that, press the – button to boot up your map and then press Y to get the warp menu up. Select Phoros Woodlands in the drop-down and press A to teleport.

When you arrive, you’ll want to take the first right, not the bottom right. Continue down the path, and if you see cow-like creatures on your left, you know you’re in the right place. Keep going up the path and cross the wooden bridge above a river of water. When you get to the other side, turn to the right and run into the left side of the cave.
At the edge of this section, you’ll find the goblin archer in Rune Factory 5 covered in a red mist. This is the beast you’ve been told to catch. It is easy to beat as it’s an early game boss. You should be able to handle it. However, don’t kill it. Instead, wait until it’s low on health and then capture it.
To do that, hold the ZL button and wait until a red reticle appears on screen. Then, release it to capture the goblin archer in Rune Factory 5. When that’s done, go back to your home by pressing the – button and then pressing X to return to your bedroom. Head down, speak to Livia, and she will give you one loaf of cooking bread.
There are two other creatures you can catch for SEED under contract: the slime and the fairy. Do both to get different loaves of bread and more SEED points to help organize festivals and gain upgrades with Eliza.
