Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Version 2.0.0 Out Now, First Round of DLC is Live

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has received a new update that officially brings the game to Version 2.0.0. Players can access the first wave of the Booster Course Pass DLC after it installs. You may receive a message stating that players can race in the new cups by purchasing the Booster Course Pass or signing up for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. This notice is expected to go away shortly, and the content should be available for everyone soon.

The following tracks can be accessed now with the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe version 2.0.0 update:

Golden Dash Cup

・ Paris Promenade (Mario Kart Tour)
・ Toad Circuit (Nintendo 3DS)
・ Choco Mountain (Nintendo 64)
・ Coconut Mall (Wii)

Lucky Cat Cup

・ Tokyo Blur (Mario Kart Tour)
・ Shroom Ridge (Nintendo DS)
・ Sky Garden (Game Boy Advance)
・ Ninja Hideaway (Mario Kart Tour)

There are still many more tracks to come for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe thanks to the Booster Course Pass DLC. Eventually, there will be 48 new courses, so seven more waves will be released for the kart racer by the end of 2023.
