Where To Find Pikachu Pokémon Legends Arceus

Pikachu is likely the most popular Pokémon in the entire franchise, so it’s good that this species is included in the latest Pokémon Legends: Arceus. This red-cheeked mouse is a little harder to find than most, but we have you covered. Here’s where to find Pikachu in the game.

You can find Pikachu in the Obsidian Fieldlands to the east of Nature’s Pantry and southeast of Deertrack Heights nearby the water. There are multiple trees and fields where your desired Pikachu will be hanging out around. If you see any Paras, you’ll know you’re getting close to the right area.

Once you arrive, you’ll find out that Pikachu in Pokémon Legends: Arceus is an aggressive type, wanting to start a battle with you. You may even find an alpha type, a bigger form of the monster with red glaring eyes at this spot. Today, however, we’ll focus on the smaller kind.

Before attempting to catch it, try to find a Pokémon that can help you make the Pikachu go asleep. Moves like Hypnosis or Sleep Powder will work. This will improve your chances of catching the electric mouse. Once you’re into battle, use this attack and then try to hit it with a relatively weak move like Swift or Quick Attack until the bar goes red. Once it’s asleep and close to fainting, catch it with a Pokéball. It should be yours now.

Pikachu to Raichu?

If you want to evolve your Pikachu to a Raichu right away, you’ll need a Thunder Stone to do it just like the previous games. It’s not as easy as just buying the item, however. You’ll need to go find this stone in space-time distortion zones or earn one through buddy points.

Buddy points can be earned by picking up other players’ satchels that were dropped throughout the world. Once you’ve found enough to make 1,000 merit points, you should go to Jubilife Village and visit Simona. She is to the left of the main Galaxy Hall building and has a stall with a Togepi flag beside her. From there, you can earn a Thunder Stone and use it to get yourself a Raichu. We prefer the original though, but it’s up to you.
