New Nintendo Switch Online Pricing Shared During Animal Crossing Direct

Following the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct today, new information about the new Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack has been revealed, including the a release date, pricing, and even more. The new Nintendo Switch Online service goes live on October 25th, 2021 (October 26th in UK/Europe). It will cost $49.99 / £35.99 per year for individuals, and it goes up to $79.99 / £59.99 for the new family plan.

Pre-orders for the Nintendo 64 controller for the new Nintendo Switch Online can be purchased for $49.99, and the SEGA Genesis controller can also be purchased for $49.99.

Another note is that the new Animal Crossing: New Horizons paid DLC, Happy Homes Paradise, is included with the new membership. In the fine line, you will need an active membership to enjoy all of the services, including Happy Homes Paradise. If you are already an active Nintendo Switch Online subscriber and a fan of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, this is a no-brainer, as you get all of the NES, SNES, N64, and SEGA Genesis games on top of the New Horizons DLC.
