Over in Japan, during their Nintendo Direct, we got wind of a pretty awesome announcement that both The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Splatoon 2 will be getting re-releases that include all of their respective DLC.
These new releases will include the base game plus all extra content since they released. That includes The Master Trials and The Champions’ Ballad for Breath of the Wild and Octo Expansion for Splatoon 2.
The new versions of both The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Splatoon 2 will release in Japan on October 8th, 2021. There is currently no word on a western release, but with Breath of the Wild 2 and Splatoon 3 on the horizon, I would expect these updated versions to release everywhere. We will be sure to update you when more information comes out way.
