Blasphemous Wounds of Eventide Update & Blasphemous II Announced
It appears that Blasphemous still has some blood left to shed, as Team17 and The Game Kitchen have announced a final DLC chapter for the original game and a surprise announcement that Blasphemous II is in the works. Blasphemous Wounds of Eventide, the conclusive DLC, will unlock the game’s true ending. The DLC will be available on December 9th, 2021, and it will be free for anyone who owns Blasphemous.

That’s not all the news for Blasphemous, as The Game Kitchen also confirmed a sequel. Blasphemous II will launch some time in 2023.
The Game Kitchen said of today’s news: “We’re so excited to finally announce that we’ve started on a Blasphemous sequel, the community have shown so much love for the first game and we can’t wait to share more when we can!”
Blasphemous Wounds of Eventide will be the final DLC for the original title and will conclude the original story, but it is likely that the true ending of the original will lead into the sequel. If you are a fan of the series, definitely keep an eye out for this free DLC and mark your calendars.
