Super Meat Boy & Super Meat Boy Forever Getting That Limited Treatment
The time has finally come! Both Super Meat Boy and Super Meat Boy Forever are getting the Limited Run treatment, as both games are getting the standard physical edition and the Limited Run Collector’s Edition. The original is one of the grandfathers of the indie scene and a very welcome edition to anyone’s physical library, and its sequel is a slightly different approach to the series but maintains the high-intense fun and difficulty.
For starters, let’s look at Super Meat Boy:
Super Meat Boy
The original is receiving a lovely physical edition ($29.99 USD) that includes the game with some stellar box art, but the Collector’s Edition is definitely something to keep your eye on.
In the Collector’s Edition, you will receive the following:
- Physical copy of Super Meat Boy with custom box art
- Meat Boy figurine
- Meat tray
- 18×24 double-sided poster
The Collector’s Edition will cost $74.99 USD, and like everything in this post, it will be open for pre-orders on Friday, July 30th, 2021 at 12pm EST (5pm BST). Pre-orders will be open until Sunday, August 29th, 2021 at 11:59pm EST (4:59am BST).

The sequel is also receiving a lovely physical edition ($29.99 that includes the game on a cartridge, but the Collector’s Edition this time around is even beefier than the first.
In the Collector’s Edition, you will receive the following:

- Shadow box with Meat Boy, Bandage Girl, and their baby
- Squishy toy of the baby
- Original soundtrack
- 160-page hardcover art book
