RetroMania Wrestling, the return-to-basics pro wrestling video game from Retrosoft Studio, may likely see a delay due to certification process. This delay will not affect the Steam release of RetroMania Wrestling, as it will still release on February 26, 2021.
As for the other consoles, including the Nintendo Switch, a slight delay may be inevitable. Retrosoft Studio explains in more detail in their Twitter thread:
The following is the full statement from the Twitter thread:
We will most likely have a short delay in the console release of RetroMania Wrestling as we have not yet completed the certification process.
As such, we will be extending the pre-order price of $24.99 into our launch window to give those of you to get the game at the pre-order price who were planning on pre-ordering the game once it was on the eShops and stores. We do not expect the delay to be more than two weeks and we are hopeful that it will be less than that.
The Steam version will still be launching as planned on February 26th.
Thank you to all of you as we start the launch of the game. Every pre-order gave me reassurance that we were doing something that a lot of people will love to play. We have some cool plans to add more content if the game takes off like I think it will. If at any time you have any questions or concerns, please email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org://twitter.com/RetrosoftStudio/status/1363578437730975746
For those looking forward to this NES-style pro wrestling game, please do not worry so much. The console releases are still around the corner, but they may simply face a short delay. If you are too impatient, you can always get the Steam version this week. But for me, I will wait for the Switch version.
Thank you for stopping by Nintendo Link for all of your indie news and updates. Are you looking forward to this retro pro wrestling game? Let us know what you think in the comments below! Happy gaming, everyone.
