Monster Hunter Rise Version 2.00 Update Announced
Monster Hunter Rise has officially released in most places around the world (Check out our review!), but countries like Japan have already enjoyed a full day of hunting monsters in the new Nintendo Switch game. Capcom has announced on Twitter, though, that the version 2.00 update is already underway and should be launching by the end of April, and this update includes a new Rathalos as well!
Check out the tweet from Monster Hunter Rise‘s official account:
The tweet translated says, “Monster Hunter Rise Ver.2.0 is scheduled to be delivered by the end of April, where ‘Lord Rathalos’ (A new form) will be released! Several additional monsters, including the Elder Dragon ‘Chameleos‘ will appear about a month later, maybe earlier. Be prepared for more monsters to hunt!”
There are no official patch notes as this update is still a month away, but it is exciting to know that CAPCOM is working towards making the game a continually great experience even after release.
