Is Rabbid Yoshi in Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope?
Rabbid Yoshi previously featured as a main character in Kingdom Battle, but is he in the sequel Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope? The charismatic character and the dinosaur would be wonderful to have in this intergalactic adventure, so let’s dive into why or why not they’re in the game.
Can You Play As Rabbid Yoshi in Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope?
There are many characters to play as in Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, but neither Yoshi nor Rabbid Yoshi is in the roster for this sequel. Instead, two new playable characters have joined the fray, including the Rabbid, Edge, and the villainous Bowser. It’s strange that King Koopa is joining Mario and his buddies, but tough times call for tougher measures.
Unfortunately, the minigun that Rabbid Yoshi used in Kingdom Battle is not present within Sparks of Hope. However, Bowser surely is packing with his fittingly named Bowzooka that sends a powerful projectile towards his foes. He can also take in a lot of damage, so he’s an effective tank for any squad.
There is a possibility that Rabbid Yoshi could be a part of Ubisoft’s future DLC plans for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, but Rayman is the only character confirmed so far.
Who Is Playable in Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope?
The following characters will be available to play as during the events of Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope:
- Mario
- Rabbid Mario
- Luigi
- Rabbid Luigi
- Peach
- Rabbid Peach
- Rabbid Rosalina
- Edge
- Bowser
- Rayman (who will be available as DLC)
It would be amazing to see other Mario characters pop up as playable teammates in Sparks of Hope as DLC. We’d love to see Diddy Kong, Donkey Kong, Daisy, Toad, and if you want to get really wacky, Sonic, join the RPG. Sonic is crossing over with the Monster Hunter series so why not?
