5 Tulips Locations in Downtown Grassland in Kirby and the Forgotten Land
A random request I have been receiving is to help guide players to find the 5 tulips in the very first stage of Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Downtown Grassland. This stage is in the demo, so I only assumed players figured out all of the little secrets before the title released. Surprisingly, though, many players are still having some trouble, so I will do my best to help.
Some times it is fun to go back and replay the first stage of a game, and it sure was a joy to revisit Downtown Grassland to remind myself where the 5 tulips were. Hope this helps!
Tulip 1
Right from the start of the stage, just head your way down to the stump on the left, and you should see the first red tulip sitting atop the stump. Simply jump up there and touch it to activate it, which gives you a nice red coin.
This is the first one! Let’s move on.
Tulip 2
The second tulip is a bit trickier, as it is not plainly in sight. The sequence here is to approach the star gate just beyond the first tulip. You want to defeat the flying enemy, and then press the blue star button which will open the gate. Once the gate opens, there is a little prize for you, but that’s not all! There is also a passageway to the left that takes you directly to tulip 2.
Not really a difficult one, but I can see how people may miss this.
Tulip 3
After progressing to the next area and obtaining the Cone Mouth, you will naturally come upon the 3rd tulip. However, it is another easy one to miss, as it is tucked away to the left corner of the screen. When you approach the two cannons with a breakable ground before them, make sure to go to the left to see tulip 3 in a barrel-like pot.
Now we are making progress!
Tulip 4
Once you defeat Wild Edge and teleport to the final area, this tulip is maybe the one people miss the most, as it is well-hidden in a place that is not traveled to much, due to the lack of interactive items or enemies. When you see the first turtle-like monster, known as Tortorner, go to their right and you will see a tree in front of you. Just behind and to the right of that tree lies the 4th tulip.
Once you know where this one is, you will never be fooled again.
Tulip 5
The last tulip is just beyond the 4th one, where you encounter a Buffahorn. After you kill the Buffahorn or let it dash by, you will see the final red tulip behind where the Buffahorn was waiting. Once you touch this last tulip, you should have cleared the special mission had you been following this guide.
And those are the 5 tulips in the first stage of Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Downtown Grassland.
