New Attachment From HORI Makes Split Pad Pro Wired Controller

HORI has announced a new attachment for its Split Pad Pro accessory that allows you to use the device as a wired controller when the Nintendo Switch is docked.

The Split Pad Pro, up until now, has only been compatible in handheld mode; attaching onto either side of the Switch itself. Now, with this new accessory, you will be able to use the Split Pad Pro in any way you prefer, providing more accessibility.

It can also be used to connect to a PC via the headphone jack. The device has a mute and volume up/down button but these cannot be used whilst connected to the PC.

The accessory has only been announced in Japan for now, hopefully it will be coming to Europe and the US shortly after. You can put in a reservation here.
