DAEMON X MACHINA Sequel Seemingly on the Way
It appears DAEMON X MACHINA will be receiving a sequel in the future, according to producer Kenichiro Tsukuda. He made a few vague remarks about the future of the series during a second anniversary stream yesterday. He said, “We will make something of a sequel”, but continued, “… it’s going to take some time, though.”
Check out the stream, although it is in Japanese:
Not a whole lot more was discussed on the idea, but the tease has gotten fans buzzing about the brand once again. It does seem fit to share the idea of a DAEMON X MACHINA sequel at the 2nd anniversary, but I hope they do deliver on this and not just rile up fans.
At Nintendo Link, we are working on retroactively reviewing Switch games while also writing retro reviews from older consoles, so look forward to those! At the moment, speaking of DAEMON X MACHINA, I will be releasing my review of the game two years later to see how it still holds up fairly soon, so keep an eye out.
Thanks to the PC release and Cross-Save support added, it does seem like the 2019 title may be in better shape today than when it first released. It is a solid game, but with the tease of a DAEMON X MACHINA sequel on the way, going back and reviewing the original seems more appropriate.
Thank you for stopping by Nintendo Link for all of your gaming news and updates! What do you think of the potential of a DAEMON X MACHINA sequel? Are you interested? Let us know in the comments below! Happy gaming, everyone.
