Solo dev Kela Van Der Deijl and publisher Freedom Games are collaborating to deliver an adorable, and delightful new project early next year, Mail Time! This cute cottagecore collect-a-thon platformer will release on PC and consoles in April 2023, including Nintendo Switch!

The Wholesome Games pre-show before the 2022 Game Awards gave out first glimpse into the adorable little world of Mail Time by 23-year-old solo developer Kela Van Der Deijl! Even though she’s new on the gaming scene, she’s already made a good first impression!
“Mail Time is now one delivery stop closer to release! I hope everyone at The Game Awards enjoyed their animated trailer package,” said Deijl in a press release!

Take on the role of a Mail Scout fresh-on-the-job and ready to deliver – no pun intended. You’ve been assigned to deliver a letter to a “Greg”, but you don’t even know where to start! So what’s the next course of action?
Embark on a whimsical and adventeruous journey through the Grumblewood Grove of course! Talk to every monster and creature you encounter to get clues on where and who this Greg might be, and along the way, help them along way why don’t ya?
It’s your job to deliver the best service possible to all who may need it, whether they be a hungry hamster in need of savory sweets, a squirrel trying filing a complaint, rat criminal recruiting partners for their cause, or a snail in need of a wingmate, no job is too big or too small!
Jump, bounce, and hop your way onto mushrooms or branches all over Grumblewood Grove to discover hidden, forgone delivery routes, and collect special bottle caps hidden throughout eight colorful locations brimming with cozy vibes.
