How To Get The Sunrise Key In Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope
There are many collectables to find in Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, and the Sunrise Key is one of the hardest to obtain. Here’s how to get it, so you can enter the Secret Zone of Beacon Beach.
Where To Find The Sunrise Key In Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope
As you explore the planet of Beacon Beach, you’ll discover a gate that has yet to be opened. The game tells you to find the sunrise key without much direction.
If you return to the main beach area of Beacon Beach to the right of the spaceship and the huge rabbid Augie, you’ll find the shop ran by a greedy robot. The most important thing it has for sale is the Sunrise Key. It requests seven planet coins for the item. That’s quite a lot to achieve but it’s not impossible.
How To Get Planet Coins
You’ll be able to receive planet coins by finishing side missions and tasks around the planet. Press the – button on your Switch controller to boot up the menu and then press A on each of the missions to add guidance to the spot you need to go to. These side missions are available throughout Beacon Beach and the Temple Catacombs located on that planet.
What Does The Sunrise Key Unlock?
The Sunrise Key will unlock a gateway that is to the right of the shop and off the shore around the corner of a beach. Once you’ve found the gate, enter inside and you’ll come across a maze that seems to be inspired by Captain Toad’s Treasure Tracker. It plays with the camera’s perspective as you weave your way around obstacles and enemies.
At the end of the path and after solving a simple puzzle, you’ll come across Screech, a spark that can repel enemies nearby an ally.
You can equip them to any party member to gain the special ability in Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope. Hopefully, they can help you in battle, due to all the hard work of getting all those planet coins. Unlocking Edge might make the process faster as she’s a powerful character in Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope. Unfortunately, Rabbid Yoshi and Yoshi didn’t make the cut for the sequel.
