More Details Detailing Fire Emblem Engage’s Battle System Emerge

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have shared more details on Fire Emblem Engage. More specifically, more news regarding the weapons and the ’break’ feature.

It has been revealed that every character in Fire Emblem: Engage is able to use a variety of weapons. Similarly to previous games, weapons have advantages and disadvantages and so it’s vital to pay attention to your weapon choices.

Here’s how they work:

• Swords > axes, axes > lances and lances > swords
• Body arts > bows, tomes and daggers. It’s important 

The ’break’ feature in Fire Emblem Engage happens when players hit an enemy with an advantageous weapon. When an enemy is inflicted with ’break’, they can’t counterattack until the end of the following fight.

Some of the characters you will see have also been announced; Alear, Framme and Cramme, Marth, Alfred and Celine, Celica, and Louis.

Fire Emblem Engage will be available for Nintendo Switch on January 20, 2023.
