Digimon World Next Order International Edition Coming to Switch February 2023
Bandai Namco has announced that Digimon World Next Order, once exclusive to the PS4 and PS Vita, will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on February 22, 2023, in Japan. No release window has been confirmed for the West at this time.
When Is Digimon World Next Order Coming to Switch?
Digimon World Next Order will be coming to Switch in February 2023 in Japan, making it the third Digimon game on the system, along with Digimon Survive and Digimon Cyber Sleuth.
The official description reads:
Welcome back to the Digital World! An all-new adventure & story awaits! The Digital world is in despair. Machinedramons are running rampant and causing utter chaos… the Digital World needs your help! Recruit faithful Digimon companions and meet friends along the way to help you on this epic journey.
An RPG developed by B.B. Studio and published by Bandai Namco for the PS Vita back in 2016, the game was ported to the PS4 in 2017. Players can encounter over 200 Digimon species from across the animated series, and for the first time, journey with two partners instead of one!
The Switch version will feature a Beginner Mode, a running option, and an Evolved AI Battle system that will allow players to make their Digimon train and grow in battle all on their own. Victory will be achieved by players who can best raise, train, and care for their Digimon!
Feel free to check out the trailer for yourself as well to see what the game has to offer!
