About Garbage Pail Kids: Mad Mike and the Quest for Stale Gum
According to an exclusive preview from Game Informer, Garbage Pail Kids: Mad Mike and the Quest for Stale Gum takes place after the events of Mad Mike: Fury Load. This was a series of shorts written by Adam F. Goldberg (creator of the TV show The Goldbergs) set in a post-apocalyptic world.
After saving the day, Mad Mike simply wants his favorite stale gum, but the factory run by Brainy Janie only makes fresh gum. That prompts an adventure in which Mad Mike will travel through time and space with his friends on a high-tech toilet to collect the ingredients to make it stale.
Mad Mike, Luke Puke, Leaky Lindsay, and Patty Putty are all playable characters and can be used at any time, and each character has unique abilities, too. Six different levels are included that can be tackled in any order, including the Stone Age, ’80s Tokyo, a future Mars colony, and more.
Players can even collect cards and trade them, and some have powers such as stunning enemies or granting temporary flight.
