Is There A Hokko Life Physical Version?
The Team17 published farming life sim Hokko Life has finally come out but is a physical release on the cards for this anticipated release? Here’s everything we know about a Hokko Life physical version.
Can I Buy A Hokko Life Physical Version?
The short answer is yes. a Hokko Life physical version will be available in stores around North America and Europe, thanks to Team17, on September 27.
Hokko Life will cost £24.99/$29.99 USD in physical stores and £15.99/$19.99 USD on the Nintendo eShop for a digital version. From looking at the GAME storefront, there are no preorder bonuses available for Hokko Life. The more expensive price for a physical copy is likely due to the creation of the cart and the box alongside the shipping.
What Is The Gameplay of Hokko Life Like?
Hokko Life plays similarly to a game like Animal Crossing: New Horizons or Disney Dreamlight Valley. You’re gathering resources throughout the adorable world and making food, furniture, and other items like wallpaper for the town. However, Hokko Life has a few slight differences from its competition. Team17 is touting a “simple but powerful editor,” which lets you use different shapes and materials for your items.
You’ll also be able to create your own wallpapers, flooring, and t-shirts so you can customize your town and infrastructure to your liking. In addition, you’ll have to farm and fish to make some delicious dishes. If you’ve played any other farming life sim game though, you probably know what you’re getting yourself into.
Hokko Life will be available for the Nintendo Switch, in addition to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam) on September 27.
There are a bunch of other farming life sims coming in the future, including Disney Dreamlight Valley (which is now in early access through the Founder’s Packs), Harvestella, and Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life. It’s certainly going to be competitive on the Nintendo Switch for this genre.
