Round 3 of the NES Icon Parts Are Available for Nintendo Switch Online Members

The Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) is the featured set of icon parts for Mondays during September, and we are now on the third wave of icon parts for the fun collection of old NES sprites and characters. Currently we have two sets featured in the Missions & Rewards section of Nintendo Switch Online: NES icon parts until October 3rd and Splatoon 3 until October 6th, 2022.

Of course Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available every month celebrating different villagers birthdays, too, and these September ones will expire on October 3rd alongside these new NES ones.

The NES icon parts will rotate every Monday in September until October 3rd. This week’s offerings include some great icons and lots of old sprites, including Mario 3 and Punch Out. Unfortunately, there are still no backgrounds or frames for this current set, at least within the first two waves. If you are a fan of the system, jump on these new parts while you can. They will be available until next Monday, September 26th, 2022, around 9pm EST.
