Disney Illusion Island Coming to Nintendo Switch 2023
Disney is releasing a new co-op platformer in 2023 exclusively for Nintendo Switch called Disney Illusion Island, which will star Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy in an all-new adventure!

Disney Illusion Island was announced during the Disney & Marvel D23 2022 Showcase and was presented as a multiplayer platformer that will feature Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy.
Players will be able to choose between any one of the four for co-op, each with their own special abilities to use throughout the adventure to work together to save the island! Mickey seems to be able to bounce off of walls, Minnie has a grappling hook, Donald can swim, and Goofy can use condiments for various purposes.
Supposedly, the game is building off the foundation of a canceled 2016 platformer by studio Dlala, which was discontinued following Disney’s shut down of its internal games development and publishing arm. It was meant to be a reboot of one of Disney’s biggest IPs with Metroidvania elements.
