Splatoon 3 Salmon Run: How To Unlock The Mode and How Long Does It Run For?
Salmon Run was one of the best playable modes in Splatoon 2, so it only makes sense to bring it back for the sequel. The Splatoon 3 Salmon Run mode, however, isn’t unlocked from the start and some elements of it have changed since its introduction to the series. Here’s a complete description of how to unlock the Splatoon 3 Salmon Run mode and if it runs in the game 24/7.
How to Get Splatoon 3 Salmon Run Mode
When you begin Splatoon 3, you’ll be taken to the desert city of Splatsville, a larger hub for you to explore. You may find the permanantly open headquarters for where Salmon Runs are organized. To the right of the room with green arrows above the doors, you’ll see an orange sign. Go through the red metallic doors to go inside.
You’ll meet Mr. Grizz, a statue, that will tell you that the office isn’t open to you until you reach Level 4. Finish games against opponents online, and then return once you’ve hit that milestone. You can then begin the Splatoon 3 Salmon Run mode by yourself or with your friends.
Can You Play Splatoon 3 Salmon Run at Any Time of Day?
In a bizzarre fashion, Splatoon 2 only had the fan-favorite mode available at specific hours of the day. Thankfully, Nintendo has switched it up for the Splatoon 3 Salmon Run mode as it can now be played at any time in the day. It can be 3 a.m. or 3 p.m, it simply doesn’t matter anymore when you want to play Salmon Run with your buddies.
Keep in mind that you need to finish some new tutorials based on some additional elements to the Splatoon 3 Salmon Run mode like new bosses. Try to put some time into this before scheduling your gaming session.
