All Sonic Frontiers Pre-Order Incentives – GameStop, Best Buy, etc

Sonic Frontiers Pre-Order

Sonic Frontiers is an exciting prospect for fans of the series as it will dive into more open worlds and an intriguing story. With the hype building, GameStop and Best Buy have announced the Sonic Frontiers pre-order incentives, in case you’re interested in checking this out.

If you shop at GameStop, you’re in store for a special steelbook. It depicts Sonic in front of the open world area staring at you as he’s about to take off. The sky is dimly lit, but the overall art would look stunning on your shelf. In addition, you’ll get in-game boosts through the Adventurer’s Treasure Box. It will give you skill points, red seeds of power, and blue seeds of defense.

Currently, at GameStop’s brother in the UK, GAME, there are no Sonic Frontiers pre-order bonuses set.

The Sonic Frontiers pre-order bonus at Best Buy is also a steel book, but it’s a significantly different design. It has a cool ancient art design with the Sonic Frontiers logo fading within it. It also has the logo we saw during the game’s reveal trailer. Just like the GameStop version, you’ll get the blue seeds of defense, skill points, and red seeds of power within the package.

Currently, Walmart is only offering The Adventurer’s Treasure Box, and Amazon is not marking any bonuses at the time of writing.

Will a Sonic Frontiers Pre-Order Be Worth It?

While each steelbook looks well-produced, no matter where you get it from, the quality of the game has been under question. Sega has been insistent on not delaying Sonic Frontiers, and so far, the graphics have looked up and down as the marketing train has rolled on.

Each of the bosses looks staggering and will bring some intriguing factors. We’ll also be revisiting past levels like Green Hill Zone and other areas throughout the series’ history in digital spaces. The open world does look empty, but the concept of a free-running Sonic in a big open space does sound appealing. Look out for a review from us in November.
