In Xenoblade Chronicles 3, not every battle can be won, so you’ll have to flee at some points in the game. There may be super levelled up monsters on the battlefield or some sort of enemy like a wolf that keeps bothering the party, so here’s how to flee from battle in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 to make your gameplay more fun rather than frantic.

If some of your team members are falling like flies, or you simply want to escape from an unnecessary battle, first the A button. This will relinquish your party leader’s weapon and will leave them in a neutral stance. From here, begin to run away from your foe. If you don’t take away your weapon, you’ll be slower at escaping.

Rather than selecting a “Flee” option in a turn-based game like Final Fantasy X, simply run away from the fight like an MMO. As you begin to run away, you’ll see the lines that inform the targets’ focus will begin to fade one after the other. Once all of the lines have disappeared, the battle theme will stop, and you’ll be left alone to roam the world unscathed.

Best Time To Flee From Battle In Xenoblade Chronicles 3

The best time to escape from battle is when your party is fully alive. If you only have one or two left, it’s best to fight until the very end. If things are really bad, try to stun the opponent with moves like Sword Strike, which inflicts break on an enemy when you attack from the side. Then, another character in the party can stun the foe to the ground like Eunie’s Myopic Screen.

You can also have a Defender class character like Lanz taunt their opponents with Mad Taunt so they take on all the hits while you run away from the battle. It’s up to you on how you go about it.
