Hisuian Discoveries Event Coming to Pokemon GO, Adds Three New Variants

It appears that more Pokemon from the Hisui region are coming to Pokemon GO in the form of Hisuian Discoveries, and it does not seem like players have to wait long, as the event starts next week.

From Wednesday, July 27th, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time, get ready a great series of wild encounters, including the debuts of Hisuian Growlithe, Hisuian Sneasel, and Hisuian Qwilfish.

About Hisuian Discoveries Event

• For the first time in Pokémon GO, Trainers will be able to see the following Pokémon debuts in the game:
• Hisuian Growlithe, Hisuian Qwilfish, and Hisuian Sneasel. 
• Trainers will be able to encounter the following Pokémon thru:
• Wild Encounters:
• Zubat*, Ponyta*, Onix*, Hisuian Voltorb, Tangela*, Eevee*, Porygon*, Aipom*, Hisuian Qwilfish, Wurmple*, Kricketot*, Buizel*, Drifloon*, Bronzor*, Croagunk*
• If Trainers are lucky: Electabuzz*, Magmar*, Octillery*, Gible*.
• Raids:
• One-Star Raids: Sneasel*, Roselia*, Shinx*
• Three-Star Raids: Chansey*, Togetic*, Kirlia, Whiscash*
• 7 km Eggs:
• Hisuian Growlithe, Hisuian Voltorb, Hisuian Qwilfish, Hisuian Sneasel
• Field Research:
• Clefairy*, Paras*, Psyduck*, Magnemite*, Cyndaquil*, Sneasel*, Remoraid*, Mantine*, Shinx*, (Plant/Sand/Trash Cloak) Burmy*, Oshawott*, Petilil, Rowlet.
• Trainers can complete event-themed Collection Challenges to receive rewards of XP, Stardust, and an Incubator.
• Participate in the Hisui Cup and battle in the GO Battle League using Pokémon from the Hisui region or Pokémon with a Pokédex number #387 to 493.

In addition, Trainers around the world will be to help unlock additional bonuses for Hisui Discoveries during the Global Challenge taking place at the same time as Pokémon GO Fest: Seattle from Friday, July 22, 2022, to Sunday, July 25, 2022.

• Global Challenge – From Friday, July 22, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. to Sunday, July 24, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. PDT (GMT –7), Trainers around the globe can work together to unlock the following bonuses.
• 2× XP for completing raids during the remainder of the Global Challenge period.
• Ultra Unlock: Hisuian Discoveries from Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
• Ultra Unlock: Hisuian Discoveries Raid Day on Sunday, July 31, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time.
• Collection Challenge – From Friday, July 22, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. to Sunday, July 24, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time, Trainers around the world can encounter and catch Slowpoke, Krabby, Staryu, Qwilfish, Mantine, and Clamperl to complete this Collection Challenge.
