Splatoon 3 Inspired OLED Console and Switch Pro Controller Announced
Nintendo has announced that they will be releasing a Splatoon 3 inspired OLED Nintendo Switch console alongside the release of the game. The console will be releasing slightly earlier, with an August 26th release date, whereas the game itself releases on September 9th.
As well as this news, Nintendo will also be releasing a Splatoon 3 Pro Controller which will release the same date as the game.
As you can see from the video above, the console will include one blue-gradient coloured Joy-Con and one yellow-gradient coloured Joy-Con, detailed with various Splatoon artwork. The dock itself will be white, with a yellow coloured ’splat’ and will also feature various artwork from the game. Splatoon 3 will not be including in this bundle and is looking to retail for $359.99. Isn’t it beautiful?
The Splatoon 3 Nintendo Pro Controller will feature blue and yellow coloured hand-grips and will feature various ’splats’ and artwork related to the game. This is looking to retail for $74.99.

In the Splatoon 3 game, you’ll engage in chaotic 4-v-4 Turf War clashes across a mix of new and returning stages, where teams face off to cover the most ground in their ink to win, and discover features, weapons and the trendiest gear this side of the sun. Splatoon 3 also features a single-player campaign and the next iteration of the co-op Salmon Run mode. Join Agent 3 in the single-player story mode for a fight against the unruly Octarians and discover the secrets of a mysterious place called Alterna and the Fuzzy Ooze. When diving into Salmon Run, you’ll ink up with teammates to fend off waves of dangerous Salmonid bosses, some of which are colossal in size!
