How To Recruit in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes
War is a complicated issue, especially in Fódlan with three regions sharing one continent. At major missions, you’ll have the opportunity to recruit new members to your cause, especially if they have a personal connection to your plight. Here’s how to recruit in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.
How to find a new recruit in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes
During major battles that will have dire consequences for one side, you’ll be given the Strategy Details screen. From here, you can decide where to place key strategic actions on the battlefield. The one we want to focus on is the “Persuade” option. These come up every once in a while and will convince the person in question to join your forces. Place a tick on the “Persuade” tab to confirm your interest.
Start the battle as usual and then once you’ve completed enough major missions within the fight, the character will pop up on the screen. As you approach the battlefield they’re standing in, you’ll be given a prompt to activate the strategy. It will be in a purple box. Hold the right D-Pad button as the prompt states to begin the persuasion process.
The game will then ask you to defeat the character, but don’t be afraid. Once their HP falls, they will not die. They’ll instead be convinced to join your faction if you activated the strategy promptly. This is how you successfully recruit in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.
Unfortunately, if you don’t select to persuade the character to join you in the Strategy Details menu, there won’t be a chance to bring them into the party as they die. However, you can restart the mission before finishing it to give yourself a second chance. After you finish the mission, persuading the character won’t be effective in having them join you if you decide to replay it with the Record Keeper.
You’ll then be able to build your relationship with the new recruit and have them interact with other characters in your faction. Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes has an impressive number of cutscenes between the heroes of the game.
