Apple’s iOS 16 Gets Joy-Con and Pro Controller Support

During Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference 2022 on Monday, Apple unveiled iOS 16 and it is actually going to feature native support for the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con as well as for the Pro Controller.

A developer known as Riley Testut is where the news came from. He has previously worked on the emulator known as Delta. Both single Joy-Con and the pair will work across all devices that support iOS 16. The settings for the controllers can be customised within the Bluetooth menu of the settings app.

Developers can access a beta for iOS 16 starting from now and a beta for the public is planned for July, with it then releasing to all this fall.

This is a really cool feature for iPhone users and we can’t wait to see it in action.
