JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R Coming to Switch in September, Physical Incoming

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R officially has a release date for the Nintendo Switch. Bandai Namco confirmed that the fighter will be available on the hybrid console on September 2nd, 2022. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R was announced back in March. As part of the initial reveal, it was given a vague Fall 2022 release window.

About JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R captures the passionate character expressions that are vintage JoJo, allowing you to experience the JoJo universe with powerful imagery as if Hirohiko Araki’s manga had come to life.

Freely move the characters created by Hirohiko Araki with your own hands, and feel as if you’re inside the manga where graphics and text meet to invoke the characteristic “ゴゴゴゴゴ“.

Jonathan Joestar, Jotaro Kujo, DIO, Jolyne Cujoh, and many more characters from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure gather across multiple generations!

With 50 playable characters from all arcs, you can experience popular battles from each story, and see characters from different universes interact for the first time!

The game design of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R has been overhauled from the original JOJO battle system with adjustments to the fighting tempo and the addition of hit stops and jump dashes.

With new audio recordings from the anime voice actors as well as updated graphics to suit the anime’s art style, the full atmosphere of the animated series is realized!

Also announced is that JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R will have a physical version on Switch, at least through Bandai Namco’s online store. A collector’s edition is even planned with a copy of the game, statue, Deluxe Edition bonus, and pre-order bonus. Pre-orders for the standard edition are currently up on Amazon.
