Alolan Geodude Will Be Featured in Pokemon GO’s May 2022 Community Day

Niantic announced the May 2022 Community Day for Pokemon GO today, which will feature Alolan Geodude. The event will be held on Saturday, May 21st, 2022, from 11am to 2pm local time. 

Here are the full details on the May 2022 Community Day for Pokemon GO with Alolan Geodude:

• Featured Attack – Evolve Alolan Graveler during the event or up to two hours afterward to get an Alolan Golem that knows the Fast Attack Rollout. 
• Special Research – For $1.00 USD (or equivalent pricing tier in local currency), Trainers can access Community Day exclusive Special Research story – A Rocky Road.
• New Feature – Trainers can now gift a ticket to this exclusive Special Research to a friend.
• Event Bonuses/Bundles – 
• 3× Catching Stardust, 2× Catching Candy, 3 hr Lure Module, 3 hr Incense
• 2× chance to get Geodude Candy XL from catching Alolan Geodude
• 1 extra Special Trade during event or up to two hours afterwards (max 2/day)
• 50% less Stardust required for trades made during event or up to two hours afterwards
• Community Day Box (975 PokéCoins): one Super Incubator, one Lucky Egg, one Elite Fast TM, and one Star Piece.
• Snapshot surprise and event-themed stickers
• Group Bonuses – Trainers can work together to unlock an additional bonus. If enough Pokémon are caught with help from a single Lure Module, the 3× Catch Stardust bonus for Trainers near the Lured PokéStop will become a 4× bonus for 30 minutes. This bonus will not stack with the 3× Catch Stardust bonus and will instead replace it.

*If Trainers are lucky, they might encounter a Shiny one.
