Does Mark Hamill voice Luke in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga?
Fans of the Joker from Batman: The Animated Series and Charlie from Child’s Play will know that Mark Hamill has a great talent in the voice acting field. Despite this, Hamill doesn’t actually reprise his role as Luke in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Instead, David Menkin performs the part.
In the video game space, Menkin is known for his roles as Malos in Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Battlefield: Bad Company’s Preston Marlowe, and Dag from Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla.
For film and TV, he’s quite accomplished. He’s a voice in the animated film Ron’s Gone Wrong, portrayed Virgil and Gordon Tracy in the popular British show Thunderbirds Are Go, and has played Porter in the long-running Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends.
Luke Skywalker isn’t the only character who doesn’t have his original voice. Matt Lanter voices his son Anakin in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga after portraying the sand-hating hero in the Clone Wars animated series; originally, Hayden Christiensen played the character in the movies.
