How To Change Rune Factory 5 Difficulty
Rune Factory 5 is home to all manner of challenging creatures and for those who struggle with combat in this farming title, it may be a turn-off. Thankfully, you change the Rune Factory 5 difficulty to Easy or if you want a challenge, hard.
Altering your Rune Factory 5 difficulty
You can alter your Rune Factory 5 difficulty by going downstairs at your home and talking to Eliza at the front desk. It’s the weird marionette head-creature with a fancy purple wig on.
Talk to them and choose “I’d like to change the game’s difficulty.” From there, you can alter the setting to Easy, Normal, or Hard. If you struggle with combat, we’d recommend Easy, but if you’re used to these types of games, stick with Normal.
Normal might be the best way to go. The early in-game bosses like the Fairy are particularly easy though on normal, but some of the enemies on the field can be tough, so it’s up to your own jurisdiction.
Making the game easier might be good if you’re struggling with the controls. Rune Factory 5 isn’t particularly accurate and feels quite choppy with its hit detection. It also tends to lag at a few combat moments, making for a lackluster experience. I’ve kept it normal for my playthrough.
