Is Rune Factory 5 Dual Audio Supported?
The newest JRPG on the Nintendo Switch Rune Factory 5 will be taking players through a charming fantasy adventure. But, can you play this game with a Japanese or English dub? Let’s find out if Rune Factory 5 dual audio is supported.
Does Rune Factory 5 Dual Audio have English and Japanese voices?
XSEED Games has delivered with one of its premier localized franchises. Rune Factory 5 supports both English and Japanese voices in the game, so you can pick your favorite version.
To switch up the spoken language, go to the main menu and select “Language Settings” at the bottom below “Online Manual.” From there you can alter the cast by selecting either English or Japanese under Voice Settings. It’s fairly easy to switch up, but you’ll need to back up to the main menu to switch between them. You can’t change the voice cast while in-game.
Rune Factory 5 dual audio is important for many fans of the genre. Some may prefer the originally intended version while the English option provides more of an emotional connection to fans in North America, Europe, and other western territories. Those who speak other languages can change the text to French and German, in addition to English.
XSEED Games has also been able to include same-sex relationships in the western version of the game. This meant that more performances, additional scripts, and even new cutscenes had to be put in place in Rune Factory 5. For a smaller publisher than the likes of Square Enix and Bandai Namco, XSEED made an impressive effort into the localization process.
You can now pick up a copy of Rune Factory 5 in physical stores and the Nintendo eShop.
