Pokemon GO Valentine’s Day 2022 Announced, Debuts New Pokemon

Niantic announced yesterday a new Pokemon GO Valentine’s Day 2022 event, which features the debuts of Flabébé, Floette, and Florges. It will begin on Thursday, February 10th, 2022, at 10am local time.

Here are the details for the event:

  • Global Valentine’s Challenge: All Trainers will unlock a bonus of 3× Transfer Candy for the remainder of the event by working together around the world to send at least 70M Gifts during the event
  • Event Bonuses: 2× Lure Module duration, 2× Catch Candy, Buddy Pokémon will bring items more often
  • Pokémon Debut: Appearing for the first time in Pokemon GO, Flabébé, Floette, and Florges will be available in five colors – red, yellow, orange, blue and white
  • New Form Change: During the event, Trainers will be able to change Furfrou from Natural Form to Heart Trim Furfrou
  • Collection Challenges: Trainers who complete the two challenges will encounter a female and a male Frillish
  • Special Attacks: Gallade and Gardevoir that are evolved from Kirlia or encountered after raids will know the Charged Attack Synchronoise
  • Wild Encounters: Trainers will encounter the follow Pokémon in the wild:
  • Chansey, Plusle, Minun, Volbeat, Illumis, Luvdisc, Woobat, Natural Form Furfou
  • Different color Flabébé depending on region: 
  • Red Flower (Europe, Middle East, Africa)
  • Blue Flower (Asia-Pacific)
  • Yellow Flower (Americas)
  • White Flowers (all regions) (if you’re lucky)
  • Orange Flowers (all regions) (if you’re lucky)
  • If you’re lucky: Miltank, Audino, Alomomola
  • Raids and Mega Raids: The following Pokémon will be available:
  • One-Star: Miltank, Roselia, Audino, Natural Form Furfrou
  • Three-Star: Nidoqueen, Nidoking, Lickitung, Gardevoir, Gallade
  • Five-Star: Registeel with the Charged Attack Zap Cannon
  • Mega: Mega Houndoom
  • Field Research: Trainers who complete Field Research tasks have a chance to encounter:
  • Pikachu, Eevee, Luvdisc, Ralts, 
  • If you’re lucky: Frillish (male and female), Alomomola, Spinda with a heart pattern 
  • Shop: Trainers will find new avatar items, event stickers and a one-time-purchase bundle (300 PokéCoins = 3× Premium Battle Passes, 20× PokéBalls, 3× Lure Modules and a Poffin) available in the in-game shop

The Pokemon GO Valentine’s Day 2022 event will end on February 14th, 2022, at 8am local time, meaning the event will last for just under 4 days.
