Where To Find Crunchy Salt In Pokémon Legends: Arceus – Request 61 Walkthrough
Crunchy Salt is a resource that can be found in the fourth and final area of the game, Coronet Highlands. You’ll also need it to complete Request 61, which has you finding three of them for Tao Hua and in return, getting new items at the store.
Crunchy Salt Location
To find crunchy salt in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you’ll need to head to Celestica Trail, which is located in the center of Coronet Highlands. It’s located north of Ancient Quarry and northwest of the Sonorous Path. We recommend proceeding through the story until you get Sneasler as a ridable Pokémon.
With Sneasler, you can climb and descend mountains easily, allowing you to get the Crunchy Salt stash Tao Hua is craving. Once you’re in the Celestica Trail, climb to the top of the mountainous section.
You’ll see a lot of Level 50+ Gligar up there, so make sure you’re prepared with revives and potions if your team is lower-leveled. It can also be beside a mountain like the picture below, but you’ll find more on the top.
Crunchy Salt will be available on the ground as a straight pick-up. They look like crumbled pink rocks, similar to some varieties of sea salt in our world.
Once you’ve grabbed three of the Crunchy Salt, you can hand it over to Tao Hua, who’s inside Jubilife Village’s Galaxy Hall. Tao Hua is hanging out in the basement. Once you hand him over the Crunchy Salt, he will let Choy sell more items at his general store.
The new items include a Wing Ball (which is an improved Feather Ball) and a Max Potion, which will restore your Pokémon’s health to full, no matter what the number is.
Crunchy Salt Used For Salt Cake Recipe
Crunchy Salt can be used to craft Salt Cakes as well. You can buy the recipe from Anvin, who’s located next to The Wallflower, the cafe where the protagonist’s friends like to eat. According to the game, Salt Cakes are great at “attracting Pokémon that [bares] a resemblance to grass, plants, or minerals.” Use that as you will.
If you’re looking to craft more items than Salt Cakes, you’ll need Apricorns to form all sorts of Pokéballs. We’ve found a good spot for you to farm them.
