Evil Dead: The Game Delayed on Switch, Coming in May 2022

Evil Dead: The Game

Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games are again delaying the release of Evil Dead: The Game. Originally planned for a February 2022 release, it is now scheduled to launch on May 13th, 2022. Although it is no longer releasing next month, a trailer and pre-order information for the game will drop in February instead.

The team is delaying the game to further polish it “in order to deliver the best possible experience”.

The official statement reads:

Hey Evil Dead fans! When we set out to create a brand new game worthy of the Evil Dead franchise, we knew it had to be groovy as hell. In order to deliver the best possible experience, Evil Dead: The Game is now coming on May 13, 2022.

This delay gives our team the time they need to get things just right, so your boomstick will be polished, fully loaded, and ready to blast Deadites on that

Friday the 13th of May. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
Don’t worry, you won’t have to wait too long for more news: stay tuned for pre-order info and a BRAND NEW TRAILER in February!

Evil Dead: The Game was originally scheduled to release in 2021, but was then delayed a couple times, with May 13th being the new final date. Look forward to more information on this one next month when a new trailer and pre-order information drops.
