Pandemic Apparently Being Removed From the Switch eShop
Asmodee has apparently delisted its digital board game Pandemic from Steam. There has been no proper announcement made about this, which is quite surprising for the fanbase. For Switch players, there is a bit of good news still, as the title is still up on the eShop. However, it seems like the game will not be there for too much longer.
Asmodee apparently told a player via email that the game would be leaving the Xbox store on January 31st and would be removed from the Nintendo Switch eShop at the end of July. Strangely, the team cannot reveal why they are removing the title from the digital platforms.
We have worked hard over 4 years on Pandemic and withdrawing it from the stores has not been an easy choice. This decision was made with a heavy heart for a multitude of reasons that we cannot disclose. For now, only PC, App Store & Google Play has been removed. Microsoft version will follow Jan 31th 2022 and then Nintendo Switch by the end of July 2022.”

Encouraging to Steam players, if you have previously bought and downloaded Pandemic, you will still be able to access it in your Steam library, but those looking to purchase from now will have no luck.
There are some speculations from fans as to why Asmodee has decided to remove Pandemic, but just to be clear, if you are interested in owning the game on the Nintendo Switch, make sure that you download the title before the end of July 2022.
