Grant Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition Gets Rated
On a Korean ratings site, Grant Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition has been rated. The rumor of this trilogy coming to the Switch has been swimming around for a while now, and many believed it was going to be featured in the recent Nintendo Direct.
Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and San Andreas remasters were rumored just over a month ago. Based on a Kotaku report, the games have been redone primarily by Rockstar Dundee in Unreal Engine and will feature a mix of “new and old graphics”.
The titles will supposedly have updated UI but will still remain classic. The goal for all three games was to make them look and feel very much like they did during the PS2-era.
At this point, we still do not have any concrete evidence that Grant Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is coming to Switch or when it will even release, but this leak from the Korean ratings board is just another strong indicator that this is real and will definitely be releasing some time in the near future.
This would absolutely be a great package for the Nintendo Switch, and we look forward to an official announcement from Rockstar.
