Toy Soldiers HD Delayed to October 21st
Toy Soldiers HD has seen a lot of delays since it was initially announced. The title was originally supposed to release Spring 2020, but that got moved indefinitely to a 2021 release. Then it got an August release window, then a September 9th release date, and then a September 30th release date, which would have been tomorrow. Unfortunately, Toy Soldiers HD is seeing another delay, and this time the remake will release on October 21st, 2021.
Accelerate Games has stated that the latest delay “ensures all versions of the game will be released simultaneously.” The team encountered an issue related to leaderboards not displaying correctly, and in order to address this as well as fix some other minor issues, the decision was made to delay the release.
We apologize for moving the date again, but we want you to fully experience the definitive edition. We want you to enjoy the improved performance, new single and multiplayer modes, and all the DLC.

Toy Soldiers was an excellent title on the Xbox 360 as part of the Xbox Live Arcade, so it is exciting to see this title coming to the Nintendo Switch and other platforms in 2021. Let’s just hope Toy Soldiers HD will release in perfect condition come October 21st.
