Stubbs the Zombie: Rebel Without a Pulse to Receive a Physical Release Just in Time for Halloween!
Back in March of this year, Nintendo Link brought you a list of 5 reasons to be excited for Stubbs the Zombie coming out on Switch. It was only a few days later that it launched on the eshop, along with a collectors edition box set that came with a whole trove of goodies, as well as a physical copy of the game. This boxed set, however, was on the expensive side and the physical copy of the game saw no standalone release.
Until now. According to a tweet put out by THQ Nordic, Stubbs the Zombie: Rebel Without a Pulse is finally being released without the need to purchase the massive (though admittedly epic) collectors edition! The release date is October 26, meaning you can pick up this gem just in time for everyone’s favourite holiday, Halloween!
This came as music to my ears, as there was a physical standalone release quietly available on the Australian EB Games website when the game was set to launch back in March. I was one of the people who had excitedly pre-ordered it, however as quietly as it appeared, it was cancelled a week or so before the release date.
As of yet, we have no images to show, or information as to where or when the pre-order will be available to pre-order, though we suspect such information will be made public well before the release date.
