Veteran Animator, Chris Gottron, From Spongebob Squarepants Brings Cloudscape To Kickstarter

Inspired by games such as The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past, Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, and more comes Cloudscape, a Zelda-esque survival game from the one-man studio, Konitama.

Cloudscape is an open-world action-adventure survival game coming to PC and all major consoles. Explore a mix of hand-crafted and procedurally generated areas, fully customize your own private island, raise animals, meet and romance villagers, fight monsters, gamble for your life in the spirit world, and so much more! What makes Cloudscape unique in its genre?

Unique play throughs! Your starting island will be randomly generated using a combination of procedural and hand crafted presets, so each experience will be uniquely your own!

You’re not restoring a farm, you’re restoring the world. Cloudscape focuses more on survival and exploration. Your goal is to expand your reach to multiple islands throughout the world, and help bring them together. Throughout your journey you will not only greatly improve your own island, but also improve the lives of villagers on other islands!

There’s plenty to do in the world of Cloudscape! All of the usual activities are present, including woodcutting, mining, farming, fishing, crafting and a whole lot more! I will do my best to make sure all skills are properly balanced and enjoyable. Each skill also has its own set of achievements and rewards to help you improve your skills and also unlock new abilities!

You know this sounds like a perfect game right? Well, plenty of people must do because it’s hit its target in a day making £37,000 of its £35,891 goal with 971 backers – and still counting as I’m typing this!
