Chubbins Remake Rotund Takeoff Bouncing onto Switch
It is not too often when you get a pleasant announcement of a remake that you would never imagine would get a remake. Thankfully, Dahku has announced today that their precision platformer Rotund Takeoff will be coming to the Nintendo Switch eShop on June 17th, 2021. The title was originally known as Chubbins on the Wii U, and it is a grand ol’ time bouncing around. I loved the name of the original game so much that my family has reserved the name for a future pet.

A Little About Rotund Takeoff
June 17th, 2021, two-brother team Dahku will release Rotund Takeoff on Nintendo SwitchTM for the Americas, Europe/Australia, and Japan. It’s a hardcore “die-and-retry” precision platformer in the vein of Super Meat Boy and Celeste, but with an emphasis on speed as you bounce through strange worlds of intangible terrain.
It’s also a remake of the oft-misunderstood Chubbins for Nintendo Wii UTM.
The game will be available on the Switch eShop on June 17th, but there is currently no price set. Keep an eye here for more details as they come in.
Thank you for stopping by Nintendo Link for all of your gaming news and updates. What do you all think of this lovely indie remake from the Wii U? Did you ever play Chubbins? Let us know in the comments below! Happy gaming, everyone.
