E3 2021 is Happening and Nintendo Will Be There

There has been a lot of speculation as to whether or not E3 2021 will even happen. However, confirmation is finally here, and after a year-long hiatus, E3 is back and will include Nintendo, Xbox, CAPCOM, Konami, Ubisoft, Take-Two, Warner Bros, and Koch Media. Unfortunately, many other major brands have not been confirmed yet, including Sony, EA, Activision Blizzard, SEGA, Bandai Namco, and Square Enix. There is no confirmation that these companies will participate, but I would imagine most, if not all, will join.

We still do not have full details about E3 2021, but the ESA confirms that developers and publishers will be showcasing their latest news and games directly to fans around the world. The company will be working to “amplify and make the content available to everyone for free.”

ESA CEO Stanley Pierre-Louis said in the statement:

“For more than two decades, E3 has been the premier venue to showcase the best that the video game industry has to offer, while uniting the world through games. We are evolving this year’s E3 into a more inclusive event, but will still look to excite the fans with major reveals and insider opportunities that make this event the indispensable center stage for video games.”

E3 2021 will take place from June 12th until June 15th, and Nintendo usually shows off on the 3rd day after Microsoft and Sony. However, with Sony not currently on the list this year, I wonder what the setup will be.
