Fighting EX Layer: Another Dash Punching Onto Switch in April

Akira out of nowhere has released Fighting EX Layer: Another Dash onto the Japanese Switch eShop. The beautiful fighting game has a strong Street Fighter IV vibe, and it looks like it runs flawlessly on the Nintendo Switch.

Thankfully, North America and Europe do not need to wait much longer, as Fighting EX Layer: Another Dash will launch in those regions on April 15th, 2021.

The game can be downloaded for free with Arcade Mode and local multiplayer available with four characters to choose from. The “Full Pack” adds Training Mode, Online Ranked, and Casual matches, as well as the full roster of 18 fighters (4 free plus 14 more from the “Full Pack”) with all the color options. The Full Pack will be priced at $24.99 USD and can be purchased on the eShop to through access from the game’s main menu.

Akira will be updating Fighting EX Layer: Another Dash later on with an online spectator mode as well.

Fighting EX Layer: Another Dash is an ambitious title that reconsiders the theories and values of fighting games. This is a separate title in the series not bound by traditional skills and systems.

What is the fate of the fighters inhibited by new power? The game features an EX System with accelerated new values.
