Sephiroth Challenge in Super Smash Bros Ultimate
During today’s Mr Sakurai Presents, we got a lot of fun information regarding the One-Winged Angel and what he will be bringing to the table in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. In a lovely twist towards the end, though, it was announced that you can unlock Sephiroth early if you are able to defeat him in a temporary mode called “Sephiroth Challenge”.
If you did not see the presentation, you can still watch it in its entirety in the following video.
In addition to that, we learned a lot about his moveset and Final Smash. Also, in what appears to be tradition at this point, a slew of Mii costumes were announced, including the coveted Gino, from Super Mario RPG, which broke a lot of hearts that desired his appearance as an actually character in Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
The costumes are, in order in the below image, Gino (Gunner), Chocobo (Just a hat), Aerith (Sword Fighter), Tifa (Brawler), and Barrett (Gunner).
For those who bought the second round of DLC and are looking to take down Sephiroth in the new “Sephiroth Challenge”, YouTuber ryukahr found a really fun and easy way to beat the “Sephiroth Challenge” on Very Hard difficulty.
If you are interested in the strategy, check out his video below.
For those that cannot be bothered to beat Sephiroth in the challenge, he will arrive naturally on December 22 and is available as a part of the Fighters Pass Vol. 2.
