Double Dragon Neon Coming to Switch December 21

Wayforward has announced today that the bodacious and bizarrely fun 2012 sequel to the Double Dragon franchise, Double Dragon Neon, is coming to the Nintendo Switch just in time for Christmas! The beat-em-up revival, although not nearly as good as Dotemu’s Streets of Rage 4, is a fun romp with one of the funniest villains in gaming, Skullmageddon.

The game is scheduled to release on December 21, 2020, and Wayforward even provided a Nintendo Switch announcement trailer today.

Legendary martial artists, Billy and Jimmy Lee, return in this creative re-imagining of the classic beat ‘em up, Double Dragon Neon. Fight your way through countless henchmen, including Linda and Abobo, on your way to rescue the love of your life, Marian! Trained in the special form of martial arts called Sōsetsuken, hunt down and defeat the evil Skullmageddon!

Classic beat ‘em up feel with new powers, new attacks, and a sinister new foe!
