There has been a lot of drama and leaked information today concerning Atlus and the long-awaited western release of Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, the hack-and-slash game based on the ever-popular Persona universe. The game is a crossover between Koei Tecmo’s Dynasty Warriors and Atlus’s Persona franchises and is set six months after the events of Persona 5.
There was an English dubbed trailer that has since been pulled and unlisted, but you can still watch the Japanese trailer to get a better understanding of the gameplay.
Fans have long been asking for a western release for Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, and Atlus is finally making it happen. The original leak shared that the game is seeing release in North America and Europe, it will be out on February 23, 2021, and it will be known simply as Persona 5 Strikers.
Despite the leak, Atlus isn’t making an official announcement as of this posting. The company is instead teasing news for the game that will be shared next week on Tuesday, December 8. Many of the details have already been dropped, so it is assumed we will not be getting much more information that we already have. Who knows? Maybe Atlus will share a special edition with some extra goodies.
Either way, keep an eye out for more details regarding Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers when it is officially announced by Atlus on December 8. In the meantime, you can check out their teaser site here.
